Stupid question - how do I move aircraft?

Gary Grigsby’s War in the West 1943-45 is the most ambitious and detailed computer wargame on the Western Front of World War II ever made. Starting with the Summer 1943 invasions of Sicily and Italy and proceeding through the invasions of France and the drive into Germany, War in the West brings you all the Allied campaigns in Western Europe and the capability to re-fight the Western Front according to your plan.

Stupid question - how do I move aircraft?

Post by countrboy »

I've tried looking but this is such an obvious one that it must have been addressed the day the game was released: how do I move my air squadrons to airfields nearer the front? I tried to get the AI to do it, but nothing happened so I assume I need to do it manually. Many of my air directives are not executing, so I assume the aircraft might be too far away (I'm playing Torch scenario).
Thanks.

F10 or click the button in the picture attached.

You can assign it to the AI, but it may not move where \ when you want it to.
Make sure you get supply and fuel to the airfield before you transfer or the squadron will spend a turn not able to fly.
