Game crashes very often (FAILED draw_unit_layer_to_buffer

I get this error message sometimes when I try to place purchased units.
What can I do?

Hi chrDan76,

Is this for a multiplayer game or for a solo game against the AI? If it is against the AI, could you send me a saved game where this is repeatable?
