ice,

I'm a little hesitant to play the game as Axis at this point. Conquering France is much more of a pain and I don't think it possible to do it in 1 turn as historical, maybe not even in 2-3 if the allied player has any sense. I've heard very bad things about play balance early on for the Germans from other people. I remember when WitE first came out many years ago, how very unbalanced it was for almost a year. Much of this was fixed over time, due to a community that was vast and had knowledge. I know plenty about WW2 and I'm not talking about all the propaganda crap that was written prior to the last decade. I'm not sure this game will ever get fixed and people might have to make their own 'house rules' to make it balanced. Who knows. Still a fun little game. There just wasn't even time and/or research put into it before the release. Balance is not an easy thing to do for global WW2 type games. Either way I think with the allied advantage, possible gamey allied tactics, and your strong play, this game would be over for me in late 1940.

Hi jzardos

If people are telling you that the game is unbalanced we need details on the forum. Please encourage them to post, if they haven't already done so.

Here are some previous threads:
