Reorganizing into a swamp seems to be a problem

Post by RudiTheGerman »

in the attached situation I would have expected Mannerheim to be able to reorg
Murmansk as it is allowed
and the unit left next to it in the swamp because of rule 11.18.2
"You may always trace 1 hex if the unit tracing supply is not prohibited from entering that hex."

To re-org you count motorized movement points from the HQ to the unit. Murmansk is 4 away versus Mannerheim's range of 2. If the unit in the swamp were disorganized, Mannerheim could re-org it (even though it is 7 motorized movement points) because it is adjacent.

Also in Snow weather, a Swamp hex is temporarily a Woods hex.
