Community pack won't install

Hi, I have downloaded the Community Pack but when I try to run the installation, it says I don't have SCWaW installed. I certainly do have it installed, as I runs and allows me to play all the scenarios. I have downloaded the latest patch, and that installed OK. Any suggestions?

Hi Vakarr,

The community pack is for War in Europe only, not for World at War. If you own Strategic Command War in Europe, you can download it for that game.

Is the above still true?

If so the name of the Community pack is certainly misleading.

I have downloaded mine, and when I try and install it, it says I don't own the game. Which I like the above do. I do not own SC: WW2 War in Europe.

Also tried to redownload it from my Matrix Library of games that I own. It says I have no serial for it, and, then I am prompted to register my serial, something that the community pack does not have.

Ah, so I read that the Community submissions are already in the download of the game. That they come bundled with it. Nice touch. Now I only need to have the useless Community stuff deleted from my bought games...

The community pack did install, you have to add it as a mod. You have to go to Settings - Mods - and add the Iron Cross Mod. It makes no difference to the game play but by adding extra tips it makes it easier to play. It also makes it look a lot better (only the ports are a little harder to locate).
