Congralations to VB

Post by Sleeping_Dragon »

Just wanted to say congrates and thanks to all the members of VB for getting this game to market.

I've played ToS and the Ralph Reid predessor since the begining and no other game has held my attention the way this one has, only the Civ series comes anywhere close. It's soooo nice after almost a decade of playing this game to finally see some better graphics :) While I haven't posted anything since about the time ToS 1.4 came out (Under the name Bblue... I've got that accout name on these forums also, but for some reason I can't post, like it's not activated?). I thought I'd delurk for a while and join the active post community while ToS WS makes it to the store shelves.

I'm looking forward to getting my jocks built up enough to fight some higher level AI jocks to see how the AI has changed, yeah I could make a high level team but, it's more fun from scratch. But I have had the chance to play around with the new weapons and they are sweet. All seem to fit right in, balanced, but filling gaps in the weapon choices that make them VERY viable. good choices! And automove is a BIG time saver. Great job!

Well on to the next post... got some catching up to do

Thanks Bblue. You are one of my favorite friends from times way back when v1.3 was a topic.

So you do remember me ;)

Good to be back!!! Feels like going home

btw. great job to VB for rebalancing the armor types they are ALL commonly useful now.. the third titan I designed was a light with all 4 types, unheard of in 1.3-1.4. Also, was any of the stats on the titan chassies changed since 1.4? I deleted 1.4 after WS was installed and didn't think to check.

Yep, some handling mods were changed and some chassis got one or two more slots. Some chassis weights were changed too.

Cool, I thought something had changed when it was taking me longer to choose which chassis I was going to use... the choices didn't seem as clearcut as 1.4. Nice!
