diplomacy

Post by Treefrog »

Per rules page 92 if Germany pays 50 mpps for a chit it should have a 25% of moving the entry point of Yugoslavia by 12-24 percent. Right?
But when Germany goes to the diplomatic chart it only shows a tab for a 5% increase. I am confused.

Any help on this?

Rules say a 5% chance per chit (50 MPP) of a 4-8% move for a major power, and a 1/3 chance of that swing being 12-24%. Since Yugoslavia is minor, you have a 3.67 % chance of 4-8% and 1.33% chance of 12-24% per 50 MPP invested each turn.

To get a 25% chance costs 250 MPP for five chits. If all the Axis focus on one power (25% from Germany, 15% from Italy, 15% from Japan) they can get a 55% chance assuming the Allies do not invest in the same nation.
