Starting a PBEM game: How to?

Post by AshFall »

Myself and my long time opponent are trying to start a PBEM game of SC WWII IE, but I cant figure out how it works. I start the game and click the PBEM++. I'm guessing it's "host challenge", so I click that and the campaign. I choose side (axis, starting side) and enter password. Confirm

But I cant click play? I cant seem to start the campaign and do my turn, so my opponent can later do his when he has time and so forth.

Help?

Your opponent has to join the challenge first, and then once it is joined, it will show in your current games list. After that, whomever is set to play first will be able to play their first turn.

Hope this helps,

But will we be able to take turns whenever one of us has time after that, or do we both always need to be on at the same time?

The server will send an email notification to you when your opponent completes his turn. You'll also get an introductory one once the challenger has successfully joined
