Multiplayer issue

So me and my brother wanted to play multiplayer together against the AI, but when ever the game loads he only controls a single battalion, sometimes it won’t even let him control that. When he host we both have that issue. In the lobby it also says on his chat box something about “NAT server disconnected”. Any ideas? I didn’t just spend 50 bucks on this game for nothing. Currently trying to fix the game from crashing after updating it.

Also I with the whole game crashing while loading, I’ve downloaded and installed directx. Heck the game did it itself when it updated but it is still crashing. I need this fixed before I off myself. It’s been a complete waste of 50 bucks if I can’t play it updated or with my brothers.

and also did you install the game as install as admin, and run the game as run as admin?

if not, retry after a uninstall and see, and check and follow the link above, good luck

Hi, I’ve already set my compatibility and always run it as admin because I had the graphic issues. I’m pretty sure I installed it as admin also.

Do you use any mods?

After the crash please check the file SOWWL.log in the game directory under Documents, and see if between the last entries signal a error.

No Mods. I tried to load a saved game after playing a bit (just reinstalled and now reinstalled update) and it exits to desktop like before. A bunch of error form sprite request.

Also I tried to copy and paste the log but the forum wouldn’t let me. Game works fine before update, but I can’t create an online account and have the issue with my brother I mentioned in my original post.

I think it is fixed now. Before I saw your latest post I thought maybe I had missed something so I downloaded both patches separately and reinstalled the game, followed by v.102 and v.103 and they both installed differently than before and I have new loading screens. Oh and the game loads now of course. I will do the same with my brother and hope it fixes multiplayer. Thanks for your help.
