So I took the liberty (I guess I should not have...) to convert and update all of McBrides files I have (11) to TOAW IV (4.1.0.29).
The updates bring all of his scenarios up to TOAW IV (4.1.0.21) standards. This update includes:
Updating the text portion so that the header and the scenario are a bit more readable
Updated the text to be consistent across of of his scenarios
Updated the version on the map (where applicable)
Renamed each scenario to be the updated version and also updated all the PDF/Word docs to the new file version as well
Here is a link to my drop box account for these files:
link and files deleted/removed...
Here is a screen shot of what I am trying to convey / fix.
NOTE: Removed the files for below reasons...

Is McBride going to sue us now? I downloaded DNO....thanks muchly.
I doubt it, lol, he should be glad his name lives on and we are reliving his dreams...lol Thanks Daniel!
I had some good conversations with him way back in the day, he is a really nice fellow and interesting and intense as well. That is how I got (the only one left that I know of) his Sevastopol City scenario as a play test, it's fantastic. I played him from both sides in Trappenjagd as a play test and also in Tobruck and El Alamain. Its been many many years since I have heard from him (my old email addy is long since dead).
I wonder whatever happened to him.

I have never used that forum before, if he has an issue I can pull them off. Don't know anything about Commander - Europe at War.

Just sayin.
Out of respect for all of his hard work on these you should at least attempt to contact him since he specifically said he didn't want them used.

Okay, not sure what the TOAW III Matrix license agreement has to do with anything.
I don't understand why he would not want his scenarios to be played. I'll try to contact him and if its a big deal just delete them out of my drop box.

I guess I should have read the bold fine point. Seems bizarre to me.

Hey I created this really cool scenario but I don't want anyone to have it or play it...
Just seems odd to me, but that is okay. I'll just delete the drop box thing anyway...

You should have asked him, after all you did say that he is a 'nice fellow' and that 'he should be glad his name lives on', right?
Then again, if you 'don't understand why he would not want his scenarios to be played' then maybe you don't know him as well as you think.
Well I have not talked with him in 10 years or more...

I could not find him over there, found a Pete Stauffenberg but no Daniel.

You could ask over at The Blitz Wargaming Club. And since he did work on TOAWIII you could ask some senior personnel here at Matrix and/or Slitherine. I really don't think he would be that hard to 'find'.
Unless of course he wants to have nothing to do with TOAW or Matrix which would explain why he wants his scenarios left alone. People get that way for personal reasons sometimes.

Really angry was so excited to be able to play those scenarios again on IV. Is there not statute of limitation on work abandoned in digital public space?

70 years after death of author in USA. And he doesn't really have to defend his copyright, it's not a patent or a trademark. Creator owns the rights unless they otherwise specifically waive them. The simply act of creating something grants you automatic copyright protections that don't ever have to be renewed, so you can't really "abandon" a copyright unless you basically come out and waive your copyright.

I really don't think anyone has a problem with passing these around person to person.
I was forced to say that. My cat was threatening me. I was under duress. I'm not liable.

I was thinking of making adjustments to all these to make them work properly for TOAW IV.
