opponent's turn action hidden by screen rim or UI

Fury Games has now signed with Matrix Games, and we are working together on the next Strategic Command. Will use the Slitherine PBEM++ server for asynchronous multi-player.

opponent's turn action hidden by screen rim or UI

Post by Rongor »

After ending my turn, I often see the screen jumping to some location, where the opponent AI "does something", be it a move or a battle with my units.
Occasionally the scene is still just outside the map view or hidden by the bottom UI, so that one would need to scroll the map some hexes to that location and the problem would be gone. Since scroll inputs aren't possible during the opponent's turn, there is nothing I can do.
I then listen to the sounds of what's happening bit can not witness the situation.

Apparently this problem is worse the more the map is zoomed in when ending my turn, as zooming out somewhat helps. Unfortunately everything then gets so tiny that you can't really decipher the units and other stuff entangled in battle but at least you can see where stuff happened.

Did anybody else experience this? Is there an easy remedy I can apply?

Otherwise I'll have to suggest an option to have the screen centered on everything happening during the opponent's turn...
