Need help using TOSMapEditor

Post by AStott »

In the info view, I can see an area where it lists events for the hex (type, text and sound), but I can't figure out any way to actually use events. Can anyone tell me how this works?

Events aren't supported in the map editor released with TOSWS. However, there are lots of other things you can do. I am more than happy to answer whatever questions you might have about it.

Awww... I'm sad now. Any chance this will be possible with a future patch or something?

Some of the features of the editor were to cryptic to be released without taking another month or more. We decided on giving what we had. There are no plans on any TOS: WS expansion but if one will ever happen its most likely it will include the full featured editor.

Be sure we didn't try to hide it, it was just not ready for release.

in that case, we will just have to rely on rosary to supply us with more of his very creative maps...

Ah, well I'm certainly hoping it gets released at some point. I'm sure there are plenty of people who could help come up with some great campaigns if provided with the tools to do it...

Yes, rosary, more campaigns!!!

I think campaigns are one of the best new features of the commercial version of the game.
