Noob Question - How to add smoke rounds

Post by timberwolf15 »

Uh, So I played Bootcamp 2 of WestFront and they give ya 3 smoke rounds. I know how to use the editor and everything. But cannot figure out how to designate how many smoke rounds the scenario or unit gets or however I need to specify it. Currently in the scenario a 81 mm unit gets 3 rounds. I just want to give it 5 or 6 and have some fun and replay the thing. woo hoo

Hey I found it - I finally convinced myself what I already knew from gaming for over 30 years that there must be a way to add some smoke rounds somehow I found it in the SCENARIO (button - at the top ) > "Header" area then in the scenario header one can add smoke etc. Whoo Hoo

Hey are they really going to redo the Campaign Series a bit and will they have better graphics ???

Yes artofwar85, they are now and in fact already did redo The Campaign Series.

Check out Campaign Series Middle East here on the Matrix forum. There is also a section on sneak peaks and coming attractions
which will give you a look ahead as to what is happening down the road.

Enjoy!

Ok I got it the Middle East has had a major upgrade (2) that improved immensely its graphics back in January the game itself came out in 2015 around September. Then a Vietnam Campaign Series is currently under development but will also have the improved Graphics. Finally, Campaign Series (West Front, East Front, and the other Front thing) though it came out in June of 2007 is not going to get this wonderful graphic upgrade that Middle East got until later maybe around 2020 year off. However, it should be noted that this Campaign Series (WF< EF<) did get an upgrade in August of 2014. Then basically they came out with Middle East. Problem is I'm a narrow minded niche player so I'm looking forward to the graphical upgrade to WF EF Campaign Series. which won't even come out this year. [8|]

That is true. CS'Nam is hopefully slated to come out this year if I read the forums correctly. I'm somewhat of a niche
player too. I like EF a lot followed by WF and RS. But I guess I'll have to wait for them as they, it sounds like,
will be eventually upgraded to the current standard. In the meantime I'm still content to play JTCS 2.02. Its a great game!

Looking very forward to Campaign Series Vietnam. From some of the screen shots and comments on the forum it looks to be just
like Campaign Series Middle East in terms of game engine but in a whole different theatre of combat and the world.
The war in Vietnam was nothing like the Middle East or Europe for that matter. I think its very exciting to see
what's coming up for the Campaign Series as a whole. I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Waiting patiently.[:)]
