Sorry for some reason the text doesn't show. I tried to edit this by deleting the photo seen in the post but I couldn't find where to edit this. There were no quote edit buttons that I could see. It's not a blank screen it has the menu start and options and scenarios listed as well as exit just underneath each other ...but nothing more.. Can someone who monitors these please reply. thank you

So it was running fine at one point and then went bottoms up. Anything set for auto update? Maybe try rolling back the vid card driver to a previous version?

If duct tape doesn't fix it then you are not using enough duct tape.

From the other thread, it looks like you did some sleuthing on your own and have found the cause [:D]

Edit the "Opart 4.ini" file located in your Documents\TOAW4 folder, and set brightness (and contrast if you changed it) back to 0.

From the manual:
Brightness Percent (0-1000): Users can vary
the brightness to their preference with this
option. Most users will leave it at 0.
Contrast Percent (0-1000): Users can vary the
contrast to their preference with this option.
Most users will leave it at 0.

What's confusing is that 0 appears to be "keep screen default" while 1 for instance makes everything pitch black.
Why on earth they would even make it possible to users to set such insane values (1000%!?) in the first place I have no idea... [8|]
