The western Allies should take a page from the German books and fly a Catalina or a Sunderland to Turkey, where it can fly to the four box of the Black sea and sink the Rumanian CP. It would probably appreciate a long range fighter to escort it. But right now that CP is the most important Axis unit on the map.
Agreed. That plane should have been send there a long time ago already.
Apart from that, the Allies are losing far to many units. Some movement made by the Allies are not good at all. Why risk a nice Soviet ARM unit to take a port which isn't of any importance at this stage? The USSR isn't in a good position to cut supply with that SS unit in Batum anyhow...
The Soviets need FTR's to put pressure on the Luftwaffe. They've got to few of them on the map...
And what about Japan? I see a lot of naval action against the Japanese, but I don't see any invasions by the US Marines. What I do see, is expensive CW and US units getting killed in Europe. It looks like opportunistic play by the Allies, without a good strategic goal.
What is the main strategy by the Allies? Which major power do they want to conquer first? Japan or Italy? I can't see a strategic plan behind what is happening at the moment. I see fighting going on in sideshows like Turkey and Persia. There's less than two years to get to Berlin, Tokyo and Rome...
