Most importantly, it frees up four city names that can be used for more 055s.

Many folks know a lot about EW, but this is a nice brief summary of US capabilities and it talks about future plans. Issued May 14.

Thanks Wayne. That library must be huge at this point. Do you need any help with it? For example a table of contents (if there is not one already).

Kevin,
We've got some 500 items included in the whole Dropbox site now with 87 members. Don't think we need a separate table of contents as browsing through the entries is pretty easy and breaking it up into more than the four main categories (Illustrated Guides, Cyberware and Espionage, Lua Code Samples & Reference) is likely not going to be of much value - at least until it gets larger!

RE: Naval and Defense News
Now I understand why posting sensitive references for improving game features closer to real world counterpart is not a good thing. That means those informations are still on effect by today’s military, and will be deemed as ‘malicious leak’ when posting it. Such mistake can grant some jail time in some countries.ORIGINAL: kevinkins

I think it’s wiser to make CMANO just as fun as learning some general knowledges about modern combats, not trying to prove what asset can do with real but sensitive references.
RE: Naval and Defense News
Imagine DCS is under a lot of pressure to keep providing cockpit sims that are as close as possible to real life. That is their entire brand image. Under lots of commercial pressure, stupid mistakes are made.

RE: Naval and Defense News
Not news but an opinion. Looking at the FFG-X program I am convinced the winner will be the legend class derived patrol frigate. The independence derivative will be unable to mound hull sonar due to its water jets same as the independence class. The Alvaro de bazan class is too short range and already took expensive for the programs price cap so even removing aegis would put it too high over the price when the other changes are considered. FREMM is a potential candidates but simply put too big at 6700 tons. Only the legend class derivative is built in the us has the range required fits the size wanted and can be made for the right price

ELTA Systems, a subsidiary of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), was awarded a “significant” contract to supply ELM-2311 Compact Multi-Mission Radars (C-MMR) to the Finnish Defense Forces. Operationally proven, the radars will provide the Finnish Army with the capability of locating and tracking incoming Rockets, Artillery shells, and Mortars (RAM), and shall provide an interface for alerting the Army’s counter weapons systems. Supporting multi-mission capabilities, the radar can simultaneously operate as Artillery Weapon Location and Air Surveillance radar, thereby seriously inhibiting an opponent’s use of aerial threats.
