game will not progress after land movement

My dad and I just started a global war campaign. As soon as it gets to my axis land movement step it will not allow me to end the phase. We both think there is a bug involving a surprise naval overrun in denmark that is causing the issue. my save game will not upload. .GAM is not supported somehow?

Compress your game file using windows utilities. (Left click on the file, send to, Compressed (zipped) folder). The zip file will upload.
I thought I knew how to play this game....
