Key invalid error

Just purchased the game and tried installing through Steam using my Slitherine/Matrix key however Steam returns an invalid key error. Has anyone installed successfully through Steam?

Not 100% sure that Matrix keys work at Steam like that anymore, and if they do I think the game has to be on Steam to function. AB is not yet on Steam.

Thanks - I saw another thread asking when would AB be on Steam and someone suggested adding it using the game key. I usually buy direct from Slitherine/Matrix and then add to Steam library using this method.

Armored Brigade hasn't been released on steam, when it is, it will be announced, trying before hand will only give you an error.

if there is a post anywhere saying it has, it's wrong, it's that simple, wait of the announcement it's gone live first, then try, but wait and see if the same key first can be also be used, as that will also be announced at the same time and place

First Matrix steam keys are different to the games Matrix key.

Second as said it's not even on Steam so it would be a miracle if it had worked😉😁

Thanks for the responses! This was the first Slitherine/Matrix game that I have purchased in quite some time that was not available to install through steam. No worries I'll just install standalone for now. [8D]
