5th AUS Div got good news that happy times are over and PM is now AUS territory where they should serve. I hope they are bringing mosquito and cannibal repellents.
Historically, CMF units were not required to serve outside AUS.

Lookig at their TOE, with 36 AT guns, they are better suited for defense of Australia proper against a Jap invasion involving tanks.

True, but there are plenty of other units...and they are now available. [8D] Not wanting to ship more units from USA to PM.

Looking at their TOE, with 36 AT guns, they are better suited for defense of Australia proper against a Jap invasion involving tanks.
Another thing is, they draw from CMF squad pool, not from AIF squad pool, latter will be stretched with 4 AIF divisions drawing from it. CMF pool with only 1 div in possible combat should be enough.

I have suspicion that IJ AI is not going to succeed in these 2 places...by the way, I really hate this auto-bombardment, especially when playing 2-day turns...

The Adelaide is so slow I don't like embedding it in a fast combat TF.
I typically operate it in a TF on its own with a couple of destroyers or embed it in a slow BB TF.
Your cruiser TF really peppered Hyuga though, so well done.

Burma...IJ has been thrown back near Pegu..and doubt it'll succeed at Pot Blair vs Indian Brigade and Base Force with mere SNLF..

China:
Not much change. IJA is losing lot of planes against upgraded CAF (they are using now P-66 Vanguards, P-43 Lancers and H81-A3s, latter is leftovers from AVG)
