Does the Supercup not count then?

You could be right. I don’t really follow Bundesliga apart from rooting anyone who’s playing Bayern Munich...

If anyone is going to be I think Son is the danger man for Liverpool, he is the one who will cause them harm.

I do hope Kane doesn't play or if he does as a sub. He won't be match sharp.

Also regarding Liverpool under Klopp. Whenever they have had a break after a period of good form they have been very poor. I hope the break has pulled Spurs out of the terrible end of year form.

There is no pressure on Spurs, we are in the Champions league next year no matter what. Liverpool not winning last year and not throwing away Prem have the pressure.

I know Reds here aren't totally confident and don't underestimate Spurs.

As for Klopp and finals he has a bad record whichever way you look at it.

I had a dream we lost 4-3 on penalties.

So, Europe League final today. Any Gooners or Chelsea fans here, what's your thoughts? Lots at stake for Arsenal especially, with a potentian UCL entry available to them.

Arsenal supporter here. This game could go either way. Our defense is fragile and if they don’t cope we are done. This is the most capable front line we’ve had in 15 years tho. We can score goals, but we can give em up too.

On the flip side it has to be hard to focus if you’re on Chelsea. Sarri is literally being handed his hat as he walks through the tunnel. But Hazard is kinda awesome so who knows? Happy to be a Beatle.

I know this is supposed to be a big trophy but as it’s not Champions League it still feels a bit like a bowling trophy lol

Hate both teams. Arsenal abit less than Chelsea. Which sounds odd I'm sure coming from a Spurs fan. So wont both to lose. I'd like Arsenal to win and the Spurs knock them out of Champions League.

Here we go, then. I'd normally wish Arsenal to win here, not a fan of Chelsea either, but given Chelsea's already has UCL next season, and Arsenal not, better keep it that way then. No need to wish more money for any of the London teams, right! [:'(]

(I will probably still quietly wish for Arsenal victory...)

That's a football stadium [X(]

My subbuteo set, on our big kitchen table, has a more intimate setup. And I don't even have any stands there...

Ouch, I hope that post does not cost me too much. They do sell stands... Of course they do! [&o]

Don't let anyone tell people don't read these forums, they obviously do! For inspiration, even:

It is a place so ill-conceived that not only is the stadium inaccessible to most of Europe but the pitch seems inaccessible from most of the stands, laid out like a Subbuteo cloth on a snooker table, as though somebody had seen the London Stadium and thought: “We’ll do that, but more so.”

Subbuteo! Is it still popular in this age of the computer and console? They used to have championships etc.

Owned the England team never Spurs sadly. Also difficult game to play on your own, esp trying to do goalie and take a shot. I always thought the goalkeeping was the bad part of that game. My goal posts used to fly across the room!

I loved subbuteo. Had a lot of my faves inc: Tottenham Hotspur, Plymouth Argyle, Sheffield Wednesday and Borussia Dortmund. Good fun back in the day [:)]

I have no idea how popular it is nowadays tbh. I got a basic set as a long waited xmas present as a kid in the seventies, just the very basic setup with cotton pitch, plus red and blue team with white shorts and socks (ie not painted at all there). With little modification, we painted them out as Reds and Toffees, played lots of friendly derbies with my friends then.

Edit: found a pic, it was something like this at the time:

I found a set with two Italian teams like ten years ago, with little modification the two teams became Arsenal and Chelsea, why I posted yesterday [:D]

I mail ordered an astro turf for last christmas, but we are yet to play a game with my two kids yet, really need to pick it up now to see how yesterdays final will play out. We already have the big dining table, now just to tell everyone move back a bit, and we have the Baku recreated [X(]

That's my experience too, playing in the late 70s. I guess with Amazon [+ the prime thing] you might get everything you need. Or maybe you have a specialised shop nearby. I prefered babyfoot though. The playstation was fun too vs my 8 or 9-year-old nephew. He picked the best European clubs, I systematically picked China and a 5-4-1... just for the lulz. My nobodies trashed the same my nephew's mega stars, that goes without saying [:D]

Yep what I had too.

I do remember many severe ankle injuries if they got stepped on!
