AoD 1939 World at War Peru

Playing the 1939 World at War scenario in AoD as the Axis Peru has joined my side. Now US troops are coming closer and closer to the capital defended by one single corps. The problem: Peru can't build any new units. Is this intentional or is it a bug? [&:]

I would say it's intentional as the thinking behind it being that Peru's ability to deploy armed forces was relatively limited, especially given their isolation from the Axis in terms of geography.

Thanks for the answer, Bill. It sounds logical. The fact that Peru is in the Axis list for purchasing new units has confused me. All other minor Axis Nations in this list are able to build some new units (afaik), Peru not. Funny detail: You can choose upgrades like air defense to units which are not there. However, my lonely Peruvian corps is doing well against a US army, a unit of US special forces and two US bombers. [:D]
