Does exist a modern game like The Ancient Art of War In The Skies?

I played a lot as a child to a game named The Ancient Art of War In The Skies.

This is a real time wargame where there is a battle and you see the front line, which is modified by the buildings. A front close a city (great supply) will be stronger and will take terrain soon. You can bomb the front line to change the course of it, or you could bomb the city to reduce its efficiency. There are more buildings, like forts, airports (where your planes must to go back before running out of fuel), towns (like cities, but weaker), factories (give you more replacements), fuel depots... etc

It isn't very complex, but it's very FUN!

Do you know any modern alternative to this game? I don't mind it would be rts or tbs.
