Looking forward to the release

Post by sapper32 »

Hi I like the look of this game and it sounds like the beta testers like it, How do the opposing forces start out ie do the Germans have an inflated navy compared to the British also are the airforces stacked in the Germans favour ? And how about production points do the Soviets get a chance to research and build at least something before Barbarossa

Ian
The battle of Medjerda is almost forgotten, but was fought against highly disciplined German troops and blasted a route straight to Tunis it was a perfect infiltration battle and should be remembered as the best fought British battle of the war.

The game starts out with historical forces. The difference is that Germany has a fairly higher experience training units than other countries while minors and the USSR have a lower one. This allows WarPlan to better simulate the war. You can build what you like by the limits of logistics, production, manpower, oil.

Neutral major powers can build forces, they just can't declare war on another nation.

Great, great game : the more I explore the beta version, the more I see that it would have been criminal to not give us this game [8|]: it's a wargamer dream. The apparition of Strategic Command 1 was for me a "shock" (not SC2 or SC3, because after SC1 the game had celebrity), but the actual shock with the apparition of Warplan is more higher : it's like a revolution for the "grand strategique" wargames scale in WW2

Thanks,
