Right I have Stellaris Distant Worlds and Polaris all sitting on the H/D. In fact they have all sat on the H/D for a long time and I have played them not at all following a quick browse. Now all of a sudden I have the urge to conquer space manage planets and transform the Milky Way. So which is it to be and why? I used to love Space empires III so cannot understand why I have not gotten into any of these but now got some holiday so which shall I fire up?

I'm a big fan of Distant Worlds Universe. It's one of the only games I play other than War in the Pacific: Admiral's Edition. I haven't played the others.

You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.
