Any way to extend a Race to Victory scenario?

I decided to play a game as the US starting with the 43 scenario. I didnt notice I had picked a Race to Victory scenario and thinking I had more time played it on the conservative side. I am down to 8 turns left. Is there any way to extend a Race to Victory scenario once you begin it? Perhaps something in the events listing?

I believe the following should work for you... in game navigate to the OPTIONS->ADVANCED screen and click on the 'Disable Game End Date' option.

If this is enabled, all victory scripts designed to run only at the end game date will also be automatically skipped, however those that are set to run at any time once in game conditions are satisfied, will still fire as expected.

Alas when I go to Options and advanced there is no disable game end date option. I also went to scripts and checked the various categories. to include victory, and no such option.

Oops, apologies as this feature is ready to roll out. Thought it already had with this game, but only with War in Europe at the moment, but will roll out with the next update which is hopefully very soon. Perhaps hold off continuing this one particular game until the next update?
