These are done by The Wargaming Guy 3 video series on WarPlan.
Please be aware that these videos are of earlier versions in some cases where bugs and play might be different.

UK should not have strategic bombers in '39.
That's just wrong. They had tactical bombers that took some mission to bomb portual facilities in Germany or so.

That's just ahistorical setup.

They barely do anything at the start of the war. They represent the Wellington and Whitley bomber that had long range. Advancements means these models are upgraded to better models.

Yes they had bombers with long range - which barely did anything also because of their amount present.
Even in '41 the Allied strategic bombing was more cratering grasslands than cities due to poor training / inefficient targetting & navigation systems, etc.

I wish he would show more than just ground combat. Perhaps some naval battles and sub warfare.

Also a combat report or two so we can get an idea of the loses sustained in a battle.

Agree, a sub attacking an escorted convoy would be nice. CEAW was fun at doing that honestly. Convoy paths were random and AI controlled.
The production points attached to the convoy was easy to determine which convoy will be better to destroy.

Looks forward to see Warplan on this aspect.

One more comment on the video. The zoom is nice. If possible, it would be nice to have one closer zoom level. I like to see my units closely.

Cheers

And, sorry to point out this again but the game's introduction screen has a superb map with nice coastlines, ... Can you do something to improve the game map? Using approximation of the real coastlines... please see the CEAW game map to compare.

I see real potential in this game. I just do not want it to be deserved by its map. But, this is perhaps just my personal taste.

CEAW used an image. WarPlan uses tiles. Which means you can make your own map. CEAW you can't.

I watched them all. I found several bugs watching the play. It's been quite useful.

Have you been able to fix that dreadful AI behavioral trait of always abandoning cities when enemy units approach?

I think that one is intermittent and it was due to some incorrect map orders.

Something strange in all these videos. I can't see Smolensk on the map. Surely a problem with my eyes?

Smolensk is on the map but for some reason it is not named. Several cities are like that. Not sure if it will remain this way. I hope that all cities are named on the map.

I looked at a couple of the videos and was wondering if you plan on having some sounds in the game? For example, battle sounds and specific sounds for units moving depending on their type and movement mode.

If so, please allow the player to enable/disable them from a menu.
