Unit movement question.

SPWaW is a tactical squad-level World War II game on single platoon or up to an entire battalion through Europe and the Pacific (1939 to 1945).

Unit movement question.

Post by Sgt Rock »

Firstly I would like to thank the dedicated individuals for such a fine product. It was well worth the download times on a 56k modem.
I can hardly wait for your upcoming products which I am sure will be of equal quality.

During my campaign game, I notice each turn some of my units are not moving when I prompt them. They have mvmnt pts and their status is 'advance', but yet several will not respond. However several turns later they do. Is there something I am missing, perhaps orders are limited to specific # of units per turn?
Thank you.

This is a Command and Control feature that was found only in SP3. You can turn it off in the perference menu. However the manual will explain how it works. While I'm an old hand at SP I never played my SP3 game...didn't like the brigade size icons and tiny towns...LOL. Now that Matrix has got it right I'm learning to use the C&C functions. I'm really getting to like it. If your an experienced SP player I'ld suggest you dig into the manual (page 35). If your new to SP just turn it off until you get the hang of things...

Thanks Rock. And read my earlier post here on Why Can't I move. Good answer, Mark. Thanks...WB
