MP question

Post by slo »

Can someone please take the time to explain to me how the MP game works. I believe we need to make an account with the third party, but then is each turn completed with the other player off line? Do they other players know when it is their turn or do we need to tell each other? Which scenario would be best? In my SP games I play the full on version, but I would assume in MP you want the USA in right away, is there a scenario that starts off right after peral harbor, like axis and allies?

thanks so much guys.

Hi Slo,

In order to play multiplayer, the game uses the Matrix PBEM++ (Play by email) server, and you simply need a login for the server.

This can be done in game via the PBEM++ registration screen as a new user, or since you already have a Matrix Forum account, you could use your Matrix Forum account to login. Simply use the same username and password you are using for your Matrix Forum account and that should then give you access.

Let me know if you still have any trouble,
Hubert

Once you've registered, you can issue a challenge, password protect that challenge, accept challenges, and then play your challenges all from the PBEM++ Lobby screen in game. The turns are then automatically handled by the PBEM++ server, uploaded when you've completed your turn, and downloaded when you select to play your next turn.

The server will notify each player when it is their turn to play via email. It is a really nice and seamless system for multiplayer.
