Update says serial not valid

I am trying to update my game to 3.05 and the update says my serial number is invalid? what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for assistance (PS its the serial I have registered at the My Games page.)

try inputting it without copy paste, as sometimes that takes over a extra space etc

if it's the one in your registry and the update is saying it's incorrect, only option is a support ticket from the support page to understand why now it's no longer correct etc

Unfortunately I don't know anything about how upgrades work.

I've noticed that, when updating, the installer adds alphabets to your serial number. Try updating again and pay attention if this is what's happening. If so, simply remove the extra alphabets.
