Amongst others, his videos on Medieval warfare and war in general are very good.

I know him for a while, however even if his topics are fine I do not like him. I find he speaks too fast (perhaps native speakers do not care as much) also he seems to "nervous" (do not know the English word for what I mean - but perhaps you can guess)... Sorry but still thanks..

I can propose better channels for my taste if someone is interested

Take him with a grain of salt, as he's just a hobbyist. His video on the MG42 versus the Bren: [&:][&:]

I subscribe to his stuff. I think he has an amusing take on the eclectic array of
subjects he addresses.
I can see how his rapid fire delivery might slip by folks who are not native English speakers.
Occasionally I have to rerun the recording because I speak American and I don't get all the
differences in our nouns verbs and slang [:'(]

He has not a heavy Brit accent, or ?

Btw. re. the "Spandau" video... he is right and wrong at the same time LOL If anyone has used the MG3 (modded MG42 with slower ROF) you could imagine what is meant?

He made a 2nd video for this topic btw.
(Bren vs Spandau part two - or Lloyd against the fan-boys)

But I agree when he says why people go ballistic often when so called "super weapons" are critizied. Esp. if coming from the Germans eg. the Panther and yes also the MG42 were not all uber weapons.

The first video where he talks about the "Spandau", then doesn't clarify if he means the MG-08, MG-34 or the MG-42 is pretty symptomatic of the errors in his videos.

He's right in that WW2 German military equipment is generally given greater worth than it actually was, but in this specific instance he's wrong.

I agree with the general consensus. His videos are entertaining, but a little bit of a mixed bag for accuracy.

For Medieval weapons, armor, and what not, I would also recommend Scholagladiatoria
