You will have to look but someone has a small program that he built to set up the game. It does all of the switches . . .

I assume you're speaking of the SeeBee utility, Great job on the program!

I've been away for awhile and downloaded the program and installed yesterday.

It definitely erases the headaches of getting AE running smoothly on Windows 8.

This forum is dead. The game is dead. Nothing ever happens here. That's why I never come here.

Welcome back. I see you've found out that the game is not as smooth in Windows 10 as it was in earlier versions. Check out the Tech Support thread and you'll be up and running in no time.

Welcome back, Castor! Sorry to hear about your accident but great to see you recovered enough to put some energy into this grand game again and get lots of enjoyment out of it. [8D]

Welcome back, o rantmaster! After another forumite suddenly went to hospital, there were a few posts recently wondering what your status was after your accident. We all hoped you had come through it OK. So seeing you rejoin is a happy occasion for us and I am pretty sure you will enjoy the game with the patches that have improved a lot of game features, including some things in the interface.

There as some changes that affect game play - if you left the game before the altitude settings for various kinds of air combat were changed, just ask and we can fill you in. E.G. - the threshold for Ground Attack vs Low Ground changed from 6k down to 2K feet. Glide bombing was eliminated.

Here's a welcome mat for you ...

There is a player that I won't name that still does not understand all of the rules but still can kick his opponent's posterior.

Of course there are, just keep doing it hard enough, fast enough, and accurately enough so they can't kick back!

Hey Chris, glad to hear you're still with us! I'm currently nearing the end of a game against what I think was your last opponent before your unfortunate accident (Mr Kane).

Hi Castor Troy... welcome back... Sure we remember you... Community is still alive (although several older hands are already resting in peaceful game hexes), but it could be half of us had already transformed into WITPAE Zombies :D

Hey mate!

Cool you're still around! Yeah, had started a game vs Mr.Kane just a couple of weeks before I was knocked out, we never made it out of the very early stages unfortunately. Perhaps you're up for a rematch of our WITP (was it?) game?

Welcome back,

you we're before my time here but it's thanks to you and the old guard that this game continues to thrive.

I've been honoured to bring new blood to WITP:AE through my series with The Historical Gamer.

We're currently on Janurary 26th 1942.

I'm playing as the Imperial Japanese Empire, if you'd like to wet your feet and help the community grow i'd be happy to have you on my discord and part of the series if you feel you'd enjoy advising and watching the game unfold 1 day at a time until the end :).

Cheers & Welcome back!,

XTRG.
