Carrier On deck Delivery? That is some expensive takeout . . .

I was thinking of the fish cod. [:D]

Oh, codfish. What the Scandinavians process with a poison to make fish boards . . .

Which they then boil and eat . . .

I don't know about the Scands, but Finnan Hadi is the worst thing I've ever been in the same room with.

Lutefisk is not the worst think that they make. The Norwegians make ratfisk:
Norwegian fish dish made from trout or sometimes char, salted and fermented for two to three months, or even up to a year, then eaten without cooking.
.
.
.
It is not recommended that rakfisk be eaten by pregnant women or people with an impaired immune system.

Not to mention Swedish Surströmming.

This (sort TFs by endurance needed) gets me most of the way there. Have to wade through some ASW/minesweeping and SCTF set to react but doable.

The TFs it misses are those set on remain on station (eg supplies one way and resources back needs to remain until I can load the resources at destination). I'll just have to search visually as well.

To clarify my OP in response to one of the replies, I am using combat reporter and witp tracker ae.

Still seems odd that there isn't a better way to be notified that a TF has completed its mission/has no orders to act on.

There is an option to tell them to take resources for the return trip automatically. I remember reading it in the manual, but not how it actually worked.

Hákarl (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈhauːkʰartl̥]

Hákarl, full name: kæstur hákarl; referred to as fermented shark or rotten shark in English) is a national dish of Iceland consisting of a Greenland shark or other sleeper shark which has been cured with a particular fermentation process and hung to dry for four to five months. Fermented shark has a strong ammonia-rich smell and fishy taste.

The meat of the Greenland shark is poisonous when fresh, due to a high content of urea and trimethylamine oxide, but may be consumed after being processed.
I do not know what is scarier: that I do understand nothing of this demonic script or that I am starting to see the demons that it evokes.

this only works with computer controlled auto-tfs (CS:xxx) iirc (someone correct me if its wrong, im at work currently)

there is no way to quickly find a tf sitting in a port that is not its homeport (on "remain on station")
theres not a lot of reasons to do it this way anyways, and in the rare cases you have do it (collecting troops in early game for example), useing pen and paper shouldnt be too hard ;)

True. There is automatic and manual. Automatic is done by the game engine, manual by the player.

There is not an easy way. You can use the task force screen to sort by location and then pull up a task force
and use the bottom button to quickly scroll through the task forces in the hex and see their home ports.

As regards this thread, the Task Force screen is more flexible than some new players realize.
It can give you a number of ways to look at your task forces.

The first screen shot below shows the Task Force Screen.
By turning off the All TF button and turning on the Transport button you can see just the transport task forces.

By clicking on the Mission you can sort by transport type.
You can see that there are six cargo task forces displayed.
The Location shows you what they are doing.

Task Forces 1,2,3 are moving to Bundaberg. They have remain on station orders.
Text says Bundaberg, move to.

Task Forces 4 and 19 are at Noumea. There are different text indications.
Task Force 4 has remain on station at sea in the hex.
Task Force 19 is docked at Noumea. That why it just says Noumea.

Task Force 5 is standing off Noumea in hex 114,161. The text says near to 114,161.
There are several reasons why you may want to stand off from a port.

One is tactical, it gives you another chance to examine the port conditions before you go in.
(So if you have some heavy radar onboard and the port is a size 1 you have a final chance to stop the unload)

Another reason is that you want to use the Task force Screen to see if your task force is very near it’s destination.

Second screen shot shows that Task Forces 2 and 3 are at Bundaberg.
Task Force 3 is docked.
Task force 2 is at sea in the hex.

Task force 1 is standing off the port. I changed it’s orders.

The best way is to stop looking for an easy way and man up and examine every last port you are are sending ships to and from every turn.

Remember how they lost track of USS Indianapolis in 1945?

WITP:AE is just a simulator of gross negligence from turn one.
