I see he lists his occupation as being in DoD. Perhaps he had a short notice move as part of his job.

Anythings' possible, but he's a short timer, getting ready to retire. I do know he was getting his home ready for sale. Could have something to do with that.
Oh c'mon! If he's homeless why isn't he finding a WiFi hot spot and sending the file from his car?

Exactly. And if he had the most unfortunate act of actually dying, why didn't he at least have the courtesy of mumbling, "Prep the 5th Infantry Division for Soerbaja and amphibious load it on the available fourteen xAPs in Singapore for movement to Merak. We'll teach those Dutch bast...aaagggghhhh....." for his last words? Some people are so discourteous.

It wouldn't have been a move, but it's possible he had a short notice trip for work. The planned house sale is more than a year away. I'm sure it's just life rearing it's head, but I want to make sure everyone is ok.

Unlike you lot who are getting the DT's from not seeing another game turn! [:'(] [:D]

I intended to read/comment on his AAR. I just read this page only now. His last comment on his AAR was on 7/6/2019, his last comment anywhere onsite was 7/8/2019. His last log in was 7/14/2019. I hope all is well.

Appreciate the heads up. All my games in the future will come with a clause:

"If you disappear / ghost me / are unresponsive for a period of two (2) or more consecutive weeks, I will consider that to be a loss of interest in our game / fatal health-related issue/ attack of DILLIGAF syndrome and will terminate the game and crown myself the victor."

Indeed! But, in all fairness, CB has to joke about his opponents dying. The Fates have not been good to him in that regard, and it's a way to pad his victory count like he pads his post count. [:'(]

Good news. Just saw some pics that Mike was tagged in on FB and he's now on a planned vacation with his family. [8D]

USS Mike is correct on all counts. I've had three opponents shuffle off this mortal coil in PBEM games. I've had to start putting a clause in my games since then that I consider a mortal/corporeal 'withdrawal' to be tantamount to quitting the game. As us old folks start games that take 5 bleedin' years to play out, expect some to not be able to make it the distance.

Is there a correlation between playing you and 'shuffling off this mortal coil'? If so, could you start a game with a certain person? [:D]

Chickenboy, ever the optimist when selecting an opponent. Maybe he intentionally selects the old timers, and the sick. [;)]

You guys are too much. Beat me to all my CB comments. One I still have is that I've begun to consider him the 'kiss of death' and have no desire to play against him.[:)] Seems when he plays for keeps, he means it.[X(]

Oh yeah, and its good to hear that your esteemed opponent is alive and well.[:D]

I breathe a sigh of relief.[8D]

C'mon man. You should try it. Maybe you can cheat death-play a game and live to tell the tale*.

Did I survive our match only due to the aid, assistance, and protection of my partner, Steve? [:D]

This just in: The Grim Reaper has challenged CB to a game of WitP:AE. House rules to be determined by Beelzebub.
The Vegas bookies are backing CB.
