Never underestimate the sim modders out there. Those guys are dedicated and quick with their mods. ;)

Personally, I've been hooked by the SC stuff once again... at least the bit I can spare.

So true about the modders. And SCXII has added a lot to SC.

Nice pics BTW :)

That's true. There's been some amazing stuff for SH2, SC and now DC. SH2 and DC have been improved to the extent original reviews are pretty meaningless. SC always was excellent.. just another of those games that not enough people bought (the awful box art didn't help).

Here are some new ship damage screens for DC. This game is really being transformed into "Battleship Command".

The Bismarck:

New main gunnery screen.

Climb into the main turret gun of a battleship, and this is what you will see:

Problem with SeaLordsWW2

Post by DP »

Von Rom:

The SeaLords mods for DC look interesting, however, when I downloaded and installed SeaLordsWW2 from their site, DC now locks up when I try to click on the various stations. I searched their site for any help, there doesn't seem to be any. I thought I would ask you to see if you had the same problem and if you found a fix. DC was working fine beforehand and I followed the installation sequence on the SeaLords site (DC patch 1.1, Vickers mods, Fletcher's DC enhancement pack and then SeaLordsWW2).

I am no expert on this stuff.

I would suggest posting in the Destroyer Command forum at Subsim.com.

Address your topic to "Horsa". He's the one who made the Sealords Mod. This will be important to make sure all the mods for DC are compatible.

I am sure there is a small file that is causing the problem. It all works for most other people.

Cheers!

I never realized you were up on that stuff Herts. Maybe it's just been awhile. Ya know those sub sims are definitely have a niche crowd. The intricacies of modern sonar is just too much for most casual gamers. :(
