Never underestimate the sim modders out there. Those guys are dedicated and quick with their mods.brent_2 wrote:this is interesting - I had regretted the $ I spent on this game, but maybe ther is hope for it yet....
That's true. There's been some amazing stuff for SH2, SC and now DC. SH2 and DC have been improved to the extent original reviews are pretty meaningless. SC always was excellent.. just another of those games that not enough people bought (the awful box art didn't help).NefariousKoel wrote:Never underestimate the sim modders out there. The SeaLords mods for DC look interesting, however, when I downloaded and installed SeaLordsWW2 from their site, DC now locks up when I try to click on the various stations. I searched their site for any help, there doesn't seem to be any. I thought I would ask you to see if you had the same problem and if you found a fix. DC was working fine beforehand and I followed the installation sequence on the SeaLords site (DC patch 1.1, Vickers mods, Fletcher's DC enhancement pack and then SeaLordsWW2).

I never realized you were up on that stuff Herts. Maybe it's just been awhile. Ya know those sub sims are definitely have a niche crowd. The intricacies of modern sonar is just too much for most casual gamers.Hertston wrote:That's true. There's been some amazing stuff for SH2, SC and now DC.
