Unit details in amphibious transport

Is there a way to see the upgrade status of a unit that is in a long range amphibious transport? The properties selection shows the upgrade / stats of the transport and not the underlying unit.

It would be cool if we could see more info about the transported unit somehow. Also in the reports - I would like to know what I sank.

I have a bunch of transports ready to land in Japan and I really need to know which one contains a unit with a mobility upgrade!
