Map Resolution Options?

Hello - I am interested in getting back into WintPAE and would like to play the Relunctant Admiral Mod. I have watched a few lets play vids and have installed the mod with the extended map option. Looking at XRTG's you tube RA Vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQv4jOxTtXQ&t=3395s his map looks so crisp vs. mine. Is there a way to enhance the resolution for a crisper map? Maybe he is using a different map mod? Thanks. Any advice is appreciated!

check the first post on that page. Bellum Pacifica has pretty crisp colours

Thanks. I wonder if this works with the extended map option in the RA mod or conflicts with it?

Is there a way to change the game resolution? If I could figure out how to set the graphics to a higher resolution that might work as well???

either manually (explained in the game folders readme file)

but the resolution wont change the colours, just the size

edit: for extended maps there are different map versions needed. the one i suggested earlier has one
