Help with savegame password

After a very long hiatus I've returned to the game. My last opponent, Bilbow graciously offered to continue our last game. He sent me the game file, but it seems my old password doesn't work or I have a senior moment and can't remember it. I know there's a way to retrieve it. I just don't remember the process. Can anyone help?

The Matrix tech experts used to do that for us but I haven't seen it in a long time. That may have ended with their ceasing to support the game.
But just in case I am wrong, try contacting Bill Olson (forum name wdolson IIRC) by Private Message. He might be able to refer it to a technician.

You will need to send the last game save files if you do get someone to help you.
