(CLOSED) Looking for Japanese opponent

Post by ReadyR »

Looking for a Japanese-side opponent who is in it for the long haul. My current game (Da Babes Scenario 30c (DaIronBabes-C)) has had to end prematurely in early 1943 due to real life issues of my opponent. I was disappointed as the Allies were just about to turn the corner and begin a long planned push-back. With the right time zones we were able to do 2 turns a day most days.

I would be most interested in a B-Mod or Bottlenecks in the Pacific mod game. Looking for a game that approaches the many constraints that were present in the theatre. Pls send a message if you are interested.

OK. A few lookers but no takers. Maybe a bit more info would help. I have been playing (mostly against the AI) for a number of years. Took up my first PBEM late last year and loved it. I miss the daily engagement and challenge with the game and while I can fire up something against the AI (I might do so to begin to learn the Japanese side) I found it much more interesting to play against a human opponent.

I am keen to try the mods I suggest. But am open to other suggestions. I don't need a lot of house rules (some basic ones like paying PPs across borders are important). Interested in the simulation of the game. And I will stick around through thick and thin. And believe me, the first year as Allies got pretty thin for while in my recent game.
