Your Casualty reports remind me of soviet reports of german casualties in 1941.

Nothing to report this turn, only some infantry shot up

T34's have definately show up in force in the south, 9 are spotted in a group down. The Italians may lose this game but the Russian's will respect us as good fighters !

Six Russian tanks die this turn , including three T-34s in the south the, the bad nes is my arty is mostly out of contact many of my troops are retreating. Several AT guns provide overwatch to keep Angry's T-34's from being flanked.

Leave Italy now or you will have nothing left to fight the Germans I say !

Russians, agree to leave Italy, provided they do so with Il Duche's head on a stick. In support of their argument they destroy 2 flame tanks, 1 wimpy tank and some infantry.

The Battlefield belches forth smoke and fire for kilometers in every direction, and through it all exhausted Russian soldiers resolutly advance through deadly fire of what seems to be the 88 and 75mm guns of three Enemy divisions:). With great effort they manage to kill some infantry, light armor and shoot up a 75mm gun.

The heroic sturmovik pilot, returns yet one more time, sights a saharina and dives down to attack, as the hapless car is in his sights he pushes the cannon trigger and... nothing happens, our valiant hero is out of even cannon ammo with only mg rounds left:) Being delerious from multiple wounds from 12 turns worth of AAA fire and multiple hits he missess and flies of.... but will he return?

Sadly the Italians are showing signs of breaking, too many T-34s and now hordes of calvery are on the way as well.

And now the Italian Arty is out of contact, it seem that the russians have purchased a new battery of 120mortars. The only thing to report is one of those huge T-28s gets killed.

Stand and fight my brave Italians !

Italian, stand and Fight, and die. It seems that there is no combat ready units on my opponents side, ad multiple trucks, crew and bersagelieri squads are moped up. However the Russians are wary of the High Caliber AAA guns which must surely be left somewhere. Cavalry Begins o pour through the defensive breaches, screening the way for the only remaining (full strength) company of t-34s. Now if only my immobilised tank crews would get their act together and start fixing.

I did not buy an extra 120mm battery, simply both of my originals were out of contact for most of the game.

After too much Vodka (on the Russian side) and Cheap Wine (on the Italian side). The respective Co's got so drunk that the thre up on the batte plans (destroying them) and destroyed their radios by throwing the empty bottles at them. The troops, without direction, gave up fighting and set to looting the populace.

Viking deleted his turn. And mine diesd due to computer virus problems, and a reformated drive. Thus ends the game and I was this (--) close to victory:(

Rematch?
