Can anyone help get KP to run?

Constantly get error "For program to run original cd must be in drive",
of course it is in drive, anyway to get around this roadblock?
Looks to be a copy protection problem?

I'm getting the exact same thing with my XP mahcine. I returned the first CD thinking it might be a problem with it, but the new one does the same thing. Installs fine, can open the Editor but the game won't run, "This Program won't run without the original CD in the Drive" and it's there. I've tried running and installing from both my CDRW and DVD drives no good. Uninstalled and wiped everything out of the registry and no good. What's up?

I had the same problem on a Windows2000 OS. To get around the problem, I installed the game as administrator, but then I had to also make my normal user login a member of the administrator group.

Not sure how that translates into the XP environment, but I beleive it also has admin and regulr user type definitions.

I'd like a better solution myslef, since I'd rather not be normally logged in with Admin authority.
