Weather

Post by Deathtreader »

Hi,

Just wondering how far you're going with weather modelling in Stalingrad. I've seen the ground condition maps put out earlier and they look great but what level of detail is actually modelled?? For example, take snow. Do we take it as a few inches of snow on frozen ground or a foot of snow that will at the very least seriously impede leg forces at the very least, if not everyone else. And sky conditions will not always be clear, there will be days when aircraft will be grounded because of bad weather and attacks cancelled because of blizzards etc. etc.

Just curious...

Rob.
So we're at war with the Russkies eh?? I suppose we really ought to invade or something. (Lonnnng pause while studying the map)
Hmmmm... big place ain't it??

Currently (Stalingrad), weather is just about ground conditions--Good, Mud, Frozen. I would like to see weather effects expanded sometime in the future that include air and sea states and their impacts on those particular environments.
