Rambo Last Blood

Post by MrsWargamer »

Ok loved the first one, I pretend 2 and 3 never happened.
4 was gruesome but a good message.

Just watched Rambo Last Blood, and I consider it a good closing film.
There's no military angle.
There's no politics.
And there are no bad guys left at the end.

I'll miss ya John.

This guy has become a caricature of himself. That's what the wrong plastic surgeon will do to you.

James Cameron, about Rambo 2,, said “I wrote the action scenes, Sylvester the political ones.”

I agree. The action in Rambo 2 is still adrenaline-inducing after all these years. The patronizing is fast-foardable. You do not miss anything important.

I didn't care for part two or three either, but the first one was pretty darn good. Sadly I haven't had a chance to watch the last one, but looking forward to it.

Have to agree 2 and 3 were awful -rather embarrassing shoot 'em ups with little substance.

But the first one was more interesting and had a lot to say about the problems faced by returned Vietnam veterans. The message was a bit buried by the action sequences but still there and valid.

Over thinking Rambo Last Blood is like over thinking a Hershey Bar.

Just watch the film, try not to over think it.

I look forward to this movie. I remember the first parts, and with what pleasure I watched them. Perhaps this part will not be very good. But I’ll definitely watch her.

I was looking through the cast list and there are characters I didn't see in the movie. Some guy plays the police captain. Not there. American Merc. nope? Jimmy. nada? What is going on?

I had to go to Wiki to find the relationship between Rambo, Gabriella and Maria. It wasn't clear in the movie. Maria was the grandmother and friend of Rambo (she might have been his fathers housekeeper before he passed away). Rambo adopted Gabriella but she called him Uncle John.
