Does this game have an editor where we can create our own battles?

Every CC Game since the CC3 has had an editor. Currently THe Bloody First is in Beta testing, I believe it will follow as the others have and will also have an editor as well.
Beta Tester:
1. The Bloody First
2. Warplan

Hi
will there be any news compared to the old Close Combat?
Will it be possible to draw maps?
Any screenshots?

Yes, there is an in-game scenario editor to create custom battles. The scenario editor lets you set the date / time / weather for the battle, write briefings, set deployment areas, add victory locations, select units, and add fire support.

The current plan is to provide a map editor shortly after the game is released.

Was going to ask this. That is huge addition. What are limitations on map sizes?

The current maximum is about 1500m per dimension. This could change (we haven't tested the game performance with maps of that size) but hopefully we can keep it at 1000m or more.

Hi Steve, just a quick question, will people be able to make campaign mods with The Bloody first like they could do with CC5, ie the Gold Juno Sword mod and the like. Just curious? Thanks

The campaign system in TBF is quite different from the strategic map in CC5 so you couldn't recreate GJS exactly, but yes a mod to create a new campaign with new forces and maps to cover all the landings is certainly doable.

There would be a real 3D Map Generator or Creator ?

There will be a map editor that allows you to create 3D maps like those in the stock game.

The map editor has a height map import feature, so it can use real world elevation data provided you convert the data format, if that is what you're asking.
