Converting scenarios to TOAW IV

Converting scenarios to TOAW IV

Just purchased TOAW IV. Very impressive! I am attempting to convert my TOAW III scenarios to version IV? Having loaded the old scenario file and resaved it in version IV will for example the new Navel system function with the old equipment file? If not where do I find the new equipment file? In short what is the correct procedure?

The equipment should work okay, but ship units will be as in the old system unless you alter the scenario to use the new ship definitions.

A III scenario should be able to be loaded and then saved. It will then be in IV scenario file format.

How well it runs is another question. Some scenarios may run as intended, others may have issues that have to be sorted. It is hard to answer this in general, the best approach is to present a specific problem in these forums and see what is suggested.
