Your float planes can train with a small percentage set to Naval Search and/or ASW. That is what I do early on.
Seek peace but keep your gun handy.

Some things to consider:
1. The amount of fuel your ships are burning that far from fuel sources - can you keep enough fuel and supply coming to sustain operations?
2. The larger your perimeter the easier it will be for the allies to bypass your bases, cut them off and use them as bomber training ranges
3. I think Pago Pago starts with some USMC defenders. Has there been enough time for allied reinforcements to arrive?
4. If artillery and engineer reinforcements have arrived at Pago you’ll need to bring your own artillery and combat engineers to reduce forts.
5. If you capture it what will you use it for? As a temporary patrol base or build it into a fortress?
6. If the allies know your CVs are near Samoa, that opens up other parts of the map for them to play in

Have fun!

Hi Jdsrae, thanks for pointing those things out. It is pretty far but if i can cut off supplies to ANZAC it might be worth it. they have had time to reinforce though. I was thinking about bringing a couple divisions and artillery and engineers.
