bug: Two Screens and no movement issue

Post by chrisjonesbath »

HI,

Not sure if this is the place but...

If you have more than one monitor and you play CCBF full screen the cursor does not remain bound to the game screen like it always did in old CC. As a result, you can not scroll by moving the mouse in the direction of the second screen as the cursor jumps screens. On old CC if was always bound to the game screen. Makes playing difficult as you can't issue move or fire commands that require a scroll.

Also on the second game in the GC I got to a stage when I could not issue move commands to any unit. I could issue fire commands but moves were ignored and no movement trace could be seen. Strangely the axis stopped moving at the same time. Weird and after about 10 minutes of this the game crashed.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the report. The next time you start the game it should prompt you to send in the crash report. Please do so if you haven't already.

Was this a single player game? If multiplayer were you the joining player?

How were you entering the movement orders? Select a unit, right click the map to get the order menu, and then select Move/Fast/Sneak? Were the orders missing from the menu? Or were you using ZXC hot keys?

Hi Steve,

Yep, a crash report sent.

Was playing single-player Grand Campaign.
Orders were via right-click. The trace line did not appear just a straight line similar colour to the selection icon in the right-click menu.

Class UI was not on.
