saving a game

Post by rickier65 »

I haven't purchased yet, but did check the manual as I was hoping that I would be able to save a game during a battle. I often find it difficult to have enough dedicated time to finish a battle in one sitting.

I didnt see anything in the manual about saving a battle in progress.

I had asked about this in the forum and recieved response:

"Yes - you will indeed be able to save in-battle!"

So is this possible in this game? ie to save a game in the middle of a battle? or will it be added in a patch? or if not then in a future game in the series?

Thanks
Rick

Yes. You press ESC while you're fighting a battle and you'll get the game system menu. From there you can save the game.

You can then quit the game, come back later, and re-start that saved game (it will say 'in battle' in the saved game list on the Command Screen) and you will go straight into the battle.

That's great! Thanks!
