REQUEST: Defend Here

More often than not, I find that if I wish to move a unit somewhere on the map, I wish also that the unit defend that destination.

It would be helpful if there were a "move to and defend" command, or if the move to command included a defend that location instruction.

Whilst on this topic, I seem to have lost the ability to order a succession of instructions to a unit, for example move here, then move here, then prepare ambush...

As I recall, if given a move order, the unit goes into defend once it reaches its destination. If it’s a sneak or hunt command then the unit goes into ambush mode.

You can do this by issuing the Move order to the destination, then hold down SHIFT and give a Defend order. This will queue the Defend order to occur after the Move order is done.
