BUG - Do Not choose LOAD from the setup

Post by timberwolf15 »

During the Campaign you can at the start of a battle at the setup screen you can save the campaign there you have other choices too besides SAVE you have LOAD if you choose LOAD and you choose the file that it open you'll get a crash not sure what happens if you choose a different load file. If you get this message reboot machine as it may crash at the end of the battle without saving.

I'm afraid I don't follow what you mean. Could you please post a step by step to the crash you are seeing. Thanks!

Cheers

Hay pips I had to unistall the game to get it working again because when I would end a battle a fault would pop up. Anyway, when playing the campaign the game auto saves the game which is nice I noticed though when one sets up a battle this is after choosing your forces and you are at the map this is before one presses the begin battle button anyway at this screen it allows you if you press I think the ESC key to save load or go to options etc. Anyway it seems if I save a game and then try and reload that game later from this same screen OR the main game screen there are all kinds of problems which to generate it again I would have to reinstall it again I think ..

Hi artofwar85,

There is an issue with in-battle saved games we're investigating now.

If you get into this situation in the future you shouldn't need to re-install. You can delete the saved game files which are stored in your Windows Documents\My Games\CloseCombatTheBloodyFirst\Saves\ folder.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
