The start of the game is tough on the Allies as one defeat falls on the tail of the last but the goal is to slow him down as he is running against the clock as well as you. Soon your reinforcements will trickle in then a steady stream then a flood, how you manage your early war loses and then your reinforcements will dictate how soon you defeat your worthy Japanese opponent.

So far I am only worried about China. With Japan not need to pay PPs for units in Manchukuo and stack of doom already marching in China, some smart play is needed.
Singapore should be able to resist at least as long as in history. Imperial Guard division was moved to Luzon plus some other units so I don't expect fast Japanese progress in Burma/Malaya(well conquered except Singers)/DEI. On the other hand Luzon may fall soon.

I won't run out of China. Giving him China for free would be huge strategic mistake. However all trashed Chinese units will move for rest and refit to India.

That CVL maybe still afloat, there were no excessive IJN aircraft losses. But planes could have been rebased and she may have sunk in consecutive turns.

Only oil centers captured by Japan so far are Miri and Balikpapan. Both shows around 50% damage. Time is pressing and hope Japan will start to make mistakes or even better run out of oil.
As far as I can tell there are currently no bigger Japanese units available for deployment in DEI.

Interesting! I was going on statements about 4 million oil/fuel being available at start but never thought about mods being that much different from stock.

I haven't read the entire AAR, but if you can get your P-38E into Singapore and fly a layered CAP with them up high and as many Hurris and P-40 as you can get together. The key is air superiority, and Lightnings give you that.

This is over optimistic. I have already one P-38 group on hand but no replacements. Hurricanes just started to arrive. Probably could get some 100 fighters there within a week but Singers is not being attacked regularly. Could be just sitting there. Also my opponent is usually flying in numbers and concentrate the air power. This would work only with lucky timing. When he sees somewhere my fighters, usually sweep comes. I will rather quietly build up forts in.
